Seat preferences
Used only when Aster has sourced, seat-level data for your exact aircraft configuration — see the seat card under a recommendation. These never affect which flight is recommended, only which specific seat is.
Weights footwell space more heavily when Aster has legroom/footwell data for your seat.
Weights proximity to galleys, lavatories and high-traffic aisles more heavily.
Changes how Aster values centre seat pairs vs. single/aisle seats.
When set, seats near a bassinet position are treated as a plus rather than a traffic/noise risk.
Off by default — comfort factors are normally weighted above proximity to an exit.
If a specific seat costs more than this, Aster will note it rather than silently calling the seat "good value".
